Built To Last Fitness Core Values

Excellence

I believe in giving people the highest quality personal training experience. Good doesn’t cut it. Built To Last Fitness strives to be outstanding.

Balance

I value balance. I believe in working hard — both in the gym and in life, but I acknowledge the need for rest and recovery. I seek to achieve harmony and help my clients do the same.

Resilience

As a United States Marine Corps veteran, I place heavy emphasis on grit and mental fortitude. People can conquer extreme adversity if they have the willingness to improvise, adapt, and overcome. Lasting fitness demands resilience in both mind and body.

Love

Everything starts with love. I believe that life is a blessing and we are compelled to make the world a better place by treating each other with love and respect. Built To Last Fitness is a means to change lives for the better. I put my heart into my work and I honor the personal relationships that are forged during training and coaching.

Mission

To better lives by providing top-level personal training and coaching while supporting a well-rounded approach to health and wellness.

About Me

My passion for physical fitness began at an early age. In high school, I played soccer and later became a three season captain, running cross country, winter and spring track. I carried my love of running and fitness to The Citadel, where I earned a four year ROTC scholarship from the Marine Corps. After graduating in 2006 with a degree in Physical Education: Health and Wellness, I served four years active duty as a Marine Corps officer. I now have the joy of being a certified personal trainer, and help people in the gym and in their homes reach their fitness goals. I can help you too!

I work with a variety of clients, of all ages and abilities. I take a methodical yet flexible approach to my clients’ custom program design, which yields results. The benefits of physical exercise and healthy nutritional choices are remarkable. The rewards are more than just physical; they can change your whole life! How would you feel with less body fat, more stamina, heightened energy, increased flexibility, greater strength, and a fantastic sense of well being? I would love to take you there!
